You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

Rogue postal worker.

I hope I'm really a time traveler.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

So an entire 1'x9' panel of plaster came down.

Eeep.

Silent Auction is over, it went fairly well. But there was drama between some of the organizing team and certain folks aren't talking to other folks and I kinda want my co-chair to quit or maybe I'll be the one to step down. We didn't have drama other than the fact that she didn't talk with me all night other than quick one word answers to questions.

Whatever. We took in about $20k between registration and the auction. Netting that against our costs, we can give the team aboout $14k.

I still have a bunch of thank you notes to send out and organizing of stuff to do. But I'm burnt out at the moment. And I'm working today. After work I drive CJ to the airport. He is spending the week in SF with my dad.

What, just randomly? You were sitting at the breakfast table and *boom* rogue plaster panel? Weird.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Could you have gotten Sunday delivery and not noticed, Tep? I had something delivered on a Sunday recently and I think they brought mail as well as the package.

Maybe for the letters in the box, but I saw the USPS truck pull up and the mail carrier bring the package up on the porch this morning, so I know at the very least the package was delivered today. As for the letters, they might have been delivered Sunday, but that's never happened before.

I really like my time traveler theory.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My appetite has been varying a lot lately. Some days I'm not hungry much at all for lunch. Then there's days like today, where I'm hungry for half a chicken. With roasted Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes and gravy.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Tep, was your package from Amazon? They have an arrangement for Sunday/holiday delivery with the USPS. Or it could have been a handoff from FedEx or UPS. USPS completes delivery for both of them for certain types of shipping.

I'm guessifying that the wallpaper was the only thing holding the plaster up....

Or a really really late postal worker finally finishing his route.

Theo, no wallpaper in sarameg's living room. The walls are painted.

I could see it happening based upon the fact that the previous owner didn't really take care of the house. As soon as a fix attempt is made, shit starts falling apart. I'm noticing that in my house now too. Covering it up is not the same as repairing it.
