Thanks, Shrift! I believe I follow her but not vice versa. Still, good to know. If there's a critical mass of fangirls in the area, that would be great.

I still don't do Sundays, despite best laid plans. I kept going back to bed...
I walked down to the corner to see the parade, and it was great! And apparently done just as I was thinking I should come back to move my laundry and get ready to go apple picking. Perfect!
Sarameg, sing it sister. I've been up for hours and yet haven't gotten out of bed. Which is a problem given I have to be at my school for an open house in less than two hours.
I appear to be hell-bent on catching up on my Doing Nothing today. That was not the plan, but so it goes.
Yesterday we had a garage sale and then our neighborhood block party. Today should involve quite a bit of slounging.
I believe I follow her but not vice versa.
I can introduce you if things progress, Calli.
I have been to the pharmacy twice, because they never notified me a prescription was in and apparently tossed it after a week, so I had to get it refilled. I've been to the grocery store. I've done dishes and eaten lunch. I think I'm going to take a walk to the fancy booze store because it's gorgeous out right now but it's supposed to rain later, so I may as well run an errand now that will allow me to spend the evening in pajama pants watching TV and drinking cocktails.
I got mulch and plaster and caulk and weed barrier. Purchasing supplies count? Normally, I'd be cleaning house but since there's a mess in the near future (see: plaster) kinda pointless and self defeating to do so.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure this is why forethought was invented.
What with the whole unemployed thing, every day is a potential weekend chore day. I'm just coming out from under a long cold, and realized this morning that recently, in a cold meds haze, I managed to clean the house, do the laundry, grocery shop, wash the dishes and put them away, and even take out the trash and compostables. (Seriously, I should probably catch a cold more often--this is lovely.) It's cold and rainy, so going out for a walk isn't appealing. Since this is the first full day in a week that I've been off the cold meds, it's also the first evening I'll be able to drink alcoholic beverages, so that plus a new gay Lovecraftian mystery series I've found makes for my evening plans. I'm just not sure what to do with myself this afternoon.
That series looks fantastic, Calli.
