I'm going on a "home tour" tomorrow, and trying to get my phone fixed. Good things, but I am building up a real deficit of doing nothing time that will need to be addressed.
And I myself will be wearing pink taffeta as chenille would not go with my complexion.

Today/tomorrow is the HONK! Festival in Somerville, playing lots of funky band music. And I get to meet a friend's foster dog.

It is pre-5AM and I'm already at the airport...but this is for fun, not work! It was by far the cheapest flight. But I'm not sure what I'll do when I get there--I can't check in to the hotel at 8AM!
This happened to me in Denver last week - plus they didn't have a place to store luggage so I couldn't just go out and get breakfast and explore or whatever. (Plus, I'd gotten up at 4 to get to the airport so I wasn't feeling super motivated.)
I ended up lounging in the lobby till the front desk people felt it looked unseemly, then a room magically opened up.

This is pretty much my plan. ;) somehow the elite status gets me very late checkout, but early checkin is never a benefit!
