Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

We got one for my mom with no trouble, ita_!, and San Diego's supposed to be a bigger pain about it than LA. So I'd say with the amount of pain you are/will be in and the NON-comensurate amount of help you're getting from the Dr, it may well be time to go for the "non-traditional" path.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Mine took a 20-minute visit to a weed doctor and $75.00. You can find weed doctors on yelp.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, my doctor has re-instituted the normal regimen, but I think it's time I stop feeling so prudish about it, and just get a card, in case. Just, not tomorrow, since meds.

Does anyone here (LeN?) use IFTTT? I'm getting spammed every time I get a legit text message. It tells me my doctor replied, and the next IM from the same sender is

IFTTT ? TICKETS FOR SALE ? GREAT SEATS ? LOW PRICES ? (GREAT SEATS! GREAT PRICE!) [link] [don't click, it's the real spam link]

I love how much more confident it gets as it goes along.

brillig

So instead of work stress causing the sickness, it may be the other way around.

ION, I must give a shoutout to my car repair place. They'd said last time that I should look at replacing tires. I've had blow-outs on the road, and I don't want to risk one on the freeway, so I gave verbal authorization for new tires all around. The guy came back and said, "Actually, you've got new ones up front already, and the back ones don't match but you've probably got another few months on them." He had a sale pretty much locked but didn't go for it. I think I'll keep going there.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I use IFTTT but not enough to get spammed, I think.

Well, my doctor has re-instituted the normal regimen

WHEW! That's great to hear.

I really hope this interview on Monday goes well. But if it doesn't, and I wind up murdering my current boss in a blackout rage spell, you guys will help me hide the body, right? (Note to self: book a conference room. Murder in an open plan office will be hard to cover up.)

She is the worst person I have ever worked with, and now I'm working for her. The only thing keeping me from quitting is health insurance for my kids.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Glad the normal regimen is back on track, but yes I would get the card if I were you. Better than being at your doctor's whim.

Always Anti-fascist!

I can't believe there is ANYONE who wouldn't complain about working that hard, Tep, at least, non-stop.

Well, my doctor has re-instituted the normal regimen

Oh thank goodness. But yes, get a card. Make sure you have all the possible pain-lessening options that are available to you.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm glad you're back on the "normal" regimen. I wish normal sucked less.
