this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Okay, sorry for freaking out. I appreciate everyone's help.

Because books.

Panic attacks do feel physical, Steph. That's why they're sometimes confused with heart attacks or strokes.

But it's just the panic attack, playing dirty.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Well, I was just horribly mean to a customer service rep on the telephone, because they couldn't cancel my order even though my order yesterday they couldn't fill and were going to make me pay for overnight shipping to get my items by next Friday. So I went and ordered from another vendor.

Then I realized the order that was crazy with the shipping was a THIRD VENDOR that I forgot about, and now I have 2 orders of identical wigs (at about $1,000 each) coming to me, and none of the three wigs from the thrid vendor.

ANd it is really my error.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Panic attacks are the worst, Steph.

You are not being a lazy whiner! You can set boundaries!

I wanted to re-state this because it's so true.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Steph, did you eat the banana? Also have a glass of water.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Panic attacks can feel like a heart attack, for sure. Do you have anything that's a benzo, like Xanax or lorazepam? Because taking a 1/2 or a whole one right now sounds like a dandy idea.

I haven't eaten yet, but when I get this author email donw, I will. But, I don't know, my stomach really hurts, so I don't know if I shoudl eat right now.

I'm afriad it would knock me out, and I just have so much to do that I can't take a nap right now.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Tep, please eat the banana ASAP. Your stomach probably hurts because it is empty and you are stressed. Eating the banana will help with the first, and if you can take 2-5 minutes to just focus on eating, that will help with the latter.

hip deep in pie

Okay, Steph, EAT! Not eating is not helping calm the panic attack. Take three minutes away from work, screens, etc. and eat and breathe!

What everyone else said about setting boundaries.

And - as someone whose anxiety was spiraling out of control less 3 weeks ago, I sympathize so much.
