I ended up writing a diatribe to my doctor because it turns out the pain meds I got today were my Sunday pain meds, which means I get no more pain meds until *next* Sunday. Do math.
Pretty easy to get a card if you don't have one, or maybe you could ask someone you know with a card to pick you up some.
My doctor is dead set against it, and I don't know anyone with a card.

Well, I just told "someone" at the office I have was having severe concerns with the treatment of my pain, to ask where to escalate my "not a zero sum pain game" letter to. Unfortunately, I had to leave a message,
