We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Crap, ita. I hope they get there soon.

I got some boots I ordered today, and I think they're too big. Damn it. I don't want to return them!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

ita all of us our damn sure you are not exaggerating. You figure out a way we can help , and you will get help not only from the hive mind but the hive body. We will put time and effort and sweat into it. This not a proforma "anything we can do to help". This is a serious offer on my part and I bet on the part of most of us.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My train is being delayed because a fight broke out outside the train between a conductor and someone else. Running and tackling was involved.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

OK, wow.

ita, it fills me with rage what you have to go through to get treatment. If I could figure out how to put that rage to some constructive use on your behalf, I would be so happy to.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My father passed away about an hour ago, with my mother, sister, and me by his side

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm so sorry, Lee. I am glad you could be there and I hope it was peaceful.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh, Lee, I am so sorry.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Is there any chance that a document signed by many of us attesting to your struggles and to how diminished your life has become could help get someone's attention, ita?

One thing about having bone mets is that the oncologist and palliative care doctor are very free with the pain meds. Then when I talk to the psychiatrist, also with Kaiser, about my ADs, he lectures me on becoming dependent on pain meds and asks questions like, "When will you finish your chemo?" (The answer to that question is "never.")
