There are definitely California Burritos on many menus hereabouts, but I've never had one to speak to its contents. I tend not to be very adventurous with food, so the unfamiliar is sometimes greeted with fear. The only thing that I would assume from the name is that there should be avocado. Let me see if any of the menus in my file drawer have a description...
Caliente Mexican Food, just down the street, has a California Burrito on the menu ($4.75), but no description. Checking website (oops, menu was old, $6.49). Here's the description:
Voted one of the best burritos by our local school students, our California burrito comes with our marinated Angus steak wrapped in a 16″ flour tortilla with Sour cream, Cheese, Fries, Salsa and Guacamole.
Sorry, with my lactose intolerance, I can't offer to taste test for y'all.
Just spent a small fortune on senior portaits for CJ (and I got one of the smaller packages). KCD only wants one, so I'm covering the rest of the cost and I got caught up in all the options. Will be a while before we have them in hand. Now a days the packages don'te automatically include wallet size photos. Instead, you get "web files, perfect for posting on Facebook, Instagram..." but not high enough resolution to reprint your own photos.
flea, maybe add gendered argument or argument strategies and gender?
Timelies all!
Primanti Brothers in Pittsburgh does sandwiches with french fries on them.
Going to the Folklore Society's annual retreat this weekend.
That solves the California burrito mystery. Thanks, Epic.
Man, you ain't kidding, flea. I thought I'd see whether I could find anything for you and went poking around on my U's online article search and found squat. "Gendered" made the hits at least closer to topic, Burrell, but still nope.
The photo of the CA burrito actually looks kinda good, in a greasy way, but...NO, SOUR CREAM=BAD, CAN'T RISK IT.

I know I need ADs adjusted, but first I must find a psych who specialises in (or understands) chronic pain patients, and neither my pain nor my migraine doc knows of one. My migraine doc says that psychs treat people with my medication profile like addicts, and...you can see my hesitation.
Oh, yeah, I get it. I'm not on as much as you and I've one psych who treated me like an addict. I dropped him, because I'm ADDICTED to trying to not be depressed, anxious and a crazed insomniac so I can live a somehwat normal life, motherfucker.
But I found this: [link]
It's a list of LA area psychs who speacialize in working with patient with chronic pain. I don't know what health insurance you have or what area of of LA you live in, but it might be useful.
And I'm still unsure how I will explain my absence to coworkers.
Allyson, all you have to say (if you want to say anything at all) is "I was on extended leave for medical issues that leave me with some memory problems." If they probe, "I'm not comfortable talking about something so personal. So how were things when I was gone?"
I am trying to find scholarly articles for a friend on the topic of how women's arguments are systematically discounted/derailed by being called "too emotional" (either in online debate, or in person) and coming up completely bupkis. It is seriously making me feel like a bad librarian.
I would not be shocked to learn that the topic hasn't received much scholarly attention. Disheartened, but not shocked.
I am at the "ascend already" stage of this job process. When I arrived today I was called upstairs for a couple more questions.
