Willow: Were there dolphins? Tara: Yes. Many dolphins at the pound. Willow: Was there a camel? Tara: There was the front of a camel. A half-camel.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh sorry, ita.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

ita, I'm so sorry.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Sorry, ita.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

ita, I'm so sorry. Do look into disability options.

ION, in my rhinestone shoes are chafing me nonsense: the yard guys game this morning and mowed the lawn, yay! They knocked the gas valve and triggered the emergency shut-off, boo! Which I did not discover until I tried to put the kettle on for tea, and the stove didn't work.

Pete talked me through finding the shut-off and resetting it. Over the phone, from the UK.

No more excitement for my day, please.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Sorry, ita, that sucks.

Jilli, truly we live in an age of wonders.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Ugh, ita. I hope something just lands in your lap. (Hey, it could happen! I've seen it happen to real people!)

Just got off the phone with Employment Security, and now my claim is all sorted. The reality of no longer being on payroll is making me feel pretty unemployable, honestly.

I'd love to say that I firmly believe I'll get a call about one of my applications, but I don't.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My head is getting better, and I'm done with ECT. I'm scared that people at work will think I'm nuts.

Someone just left a comment on Flickr: "sehr schöne Aufnahme, RESPEKT". I guess I have street cred in Leipzig now.

Also, my whole world is askew now: It turns out Kelis actually hates milkshakes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, guys.

As far as disability goes, I need to get out and contribute to society or I might as well take all the pills. I can't just stay home, in a less nice home able to purchase less nice hobbies and stuff.

Not to mention the paranoia I'd go to the back of the medical line--as is I can't convince anyone I go into methadone withdrawal this week unless they start giving a fuck.

No fucks are on the horizon, so if I am quiet, you'll know what I'm working through.
