What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

So sorry, Lee.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jilli, I'm pretty sure you could do some reupholstering, but that looks like a Huge Undertaking.

Man, I really hope I'm back in my apartment tomorrow night as promised. I need some alone time on my own couch!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Do you have a cat-free space in which to reupholster, Jilli? Or are they largely uninterested in moving cloth and such?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

On the other hand, it looks Awesome. You already can sew, how hard can it be? Maybe start with stripey slipcovers and gradually build up?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The basement. Where the Jillifonts live. So, no, not really.

Or are they largely uninterested in moving cloth and such?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No. Vlad, the younger, enormous boycat, will launch himself at the kitchen chairs and wrestle them to the ground because he's bored and everything is a toy to him. I can imagine the unholy glee that would greet fabric being laid out.

You already can sew, how hard can it be? Maybe start with stripey slipcovers and gradually build up?

It would involve patternmaking and geometry, which are things that have traditionally thwarted me. But damn, if anyone should have b&w stripy furniture, IT IS ME.

Reminds me I have to plant my bulbs in the next month or so. Involves hauling up the bark, barrier, planting, new weed/squirrel barrier, put down bark again.

And the squirrels still had a pretty high success rate. New type of barrier this year.

So today, work early, no power, park half mile away at garage with power. Luckily the ups worked this time and no fallout.

Arrive 5 minutes earlier than usual to pool, change, and discover door locked. Kid barfed while I was showering. Waited for reopen, swam. Home just before 8.

Tomorrow, I try being late.

Maybe it will eventually realize it belongs with you and just come home.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Jilli, that is advanced upholstering. I say keep it on the wishlist until you can find someone to barter skills with.

My current password system is to use three nouns, and then have (my crappy) drawings of the three things on a page in a drawing app on my iPad. It is far more likely that I will remember which synonym that was than some random person (who has broken into my iPad) figuring it out for all three.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Happy equinox, everyone.

Fuck, I'm not ready for summer to be over. Never really got one in many ways.
