Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Going back to the bulb discussion for a moment, be aware that squirrels *love* flower bulbs. And will dig up and rebury half the ones you plant, and eat a lot of the ones they don't rebury. It's a good thing they're so dang cute, or there would be a lot more retribution.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I need to change mine this week. We can't reuse anything we have used in the last 24 months. Or anything that has a certain number of similar characters in the same places. Hmmm, wonder if a number at the front would minimize that issue.

I like the self affirmations. Will have to come up with a good one.

Are monitors still measured diagonally, like TVs? This new one is 26", 3 inches bigger than the old one.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Lately, my passwords have been self-affirmations, to remind myself things like I deserve to be happy every time I unlock my computer.

That is so smart!

I'm embarrassed to admit that I have a Dove chocolate wrapper taped to my monitor, but it says "Think of something that makes you smile," which is a great thing for me to remember.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Going back to the bulb discussion for a moment, be aware that squirrels *love* flower bulbs.

They particularly love tulips. Some people put a layer of chicken wire over their planted bulbs, to discourage the evil squirrels. They don't seem to bother irises much, probably because a woody rhizome is not as tasty as a juicy bulb.

Lately, my passwords have been self-affirmations, to remind myself things like I deserve to be happy every time I unlock my computer.

That is actually a really good idea. I have a few passwords that mean something or whatnot, but most work passwords are just a random word with numbers attached (usually starting with 1 and going up as I have to change. Words like "maintain" or "platform" or whatever pops into my head and is several letters long)

That IS a great idea. And you do deserve it.

Our wings are not tired.

I change our work access main password very often. Usually my objective is to amuse the staff. It is always some phrase that utilizes numbers and punctuation. If they don't amuse others they at least amuse me.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I haven't seen squirrels around here, which is odd, except that we have a couple feral cats still, and they may be keeping the squirrels away/under control.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I have a Dove chocolate wrapper taped to my monitor, but it says "Think of something that makes you smile," which is a great thing for me to remember.

Years ago I stuck a magnet to the back of a Snapple lid that said "Many a wrong step is taken by standing still." I still have it on my fridge. It was timely advice!
