I had a bit of chicken sausage with roasted asparagus and bell pepper.

TJs cheddar corn puffs. But I had real food for lunch, so wasn't that hungry.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I made an apple cake this afternoon for a Dr. Who gathering tomorrow (it's better after resting a day). It made my apartment smell wonderful.

I get to stay up late tonight. An old friend has another friend who is stranded at the bar that's hosting the kickoff of my little conservative town's Pride Festival. He may need a ride somewhere at 1 AM. My friend originally asked if I had crash space, but between massive clutter and a housemate, I don't have space to offer.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I spent time on the patio earlier, and now I am having wine.

Maybe I should go have it on the patio

It's quite warm here (relatively) so I vote summer is still ongoing. Though for dinner I had spicy tofu and then an apple with peanut butter. Apples are kind of fall.

Suh-soon. I thinks it's a French spelling of an Ohlone word? But I'm probably making that up.

Wow, that was not at all the pronunciation in my head.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I just got back from what I think was the best meal I've had in the last year. It was a friend's birthday and she had a gift certificate to Camino in Oakland. We had:

-- smoked quail over little grilled lettuces -- trumpet mushrooms and lentils -- seafood stew with greens -- lots of bread -- squid grilled on an open fire with fingerling potatoes (also grilled) and cherry tomatoes -- orange cake with grilled grapes

Also, I had a fabulous calvados cocktail to start.

So. Good. And just enough food, as it was all small servings. NOM.

And now to bed, for tomorrow I have much to do.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

So S4 SPN, where'd all the rock go? I am at EP12 and so many things annoying me with this season, it seems so less consistent. But the music is missing big time.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

The network kept the show on the air, msbelle, but made huge budget cuts. Royalties on the original rock tracks are astronomical, so the music was cut drastically--basically for the rest of the seasons it's only been used for very special plot points.
