Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

Suh-soon. I thinks it's a French spelling of an Ohlone word? But I'm probably making that up.

10K! I like the way you casually slip that in. Go meara!

This last glass of wine from the bottle is cloudy and maybe sour? Definitely different from the previous glass. Is that lees?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Job search looks..I finally UCLA to wake up, and they've finally called my last reference (another unanimously good one).

In the meanwhile I told my most pushy recruiter I was desperate, and she offered me a job $5/hr less than my minimum, and told me they don't like jobhoppers. I hope this is an embarrassment of riches that pans out one way or another. I'm not even sure what the second one does, but I'd take it if I can't get UCLA. I just hope they'd take me.

So please send UCLA first, other place second, vibes in my direction could you?

My TiVo(s) gone haywire. The channel lineup is totally different and I can't find any of my shows. On either box. Is this something you call TWC for? Or TiVo?

All the vibes I can send, ita.

IDEK with the TiVo. Weird. Start with TiVo and escalate to TWC?

I do not know what to have for dinner. The only thing I have thawed is beef in the style of carne asada which I feel wholly inadequate to spice right now. I suppose I could do a salad, but that seems like a lot of chopping. Maybe I can cook something from frozen? But what? And how?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Vibes ita!

Carne asada - cook with frozen veggies. serve onto tortillas, wraps, or bread as you please in a microwave or oven safe plate depending upon whether you have a microwave. Melt cheese over the whole thing in microwave (for preference) or oven. Spice with chile powder if that appeals or salsa if you have some and that appeals, or spice as you like.

I do not have frozen veggies, tortillas, wraps, bread, salsa, or chile powder. But thanks for trying.

I wish I had some chopped liver, frankly. That sounds really good.

Maybe an omelet would do?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Our dinner was "Hey, what's leftover in the fridge? Let's throw it in a pot!" (Mostly beans, tomatoes, and corn.) With a tamale to round out the plate, because it went with the beans/tomatoes/corn combo.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Made JZ the first Grilled Cheese with Cream of Tomato Soup meal of the fall. (Enhanced greatly by actual Cream in the soup.)

Also the grilled cheese had the magical smoked gouda and roasted peppers.
