New people started at work today. The idea of someone to take half my load over the next several weeks is awesome, but I am also convinced that it is all part of a plan to let me go.

I'm in Canada! I ventured out for Thai because I was starving and I have a meeting at 8pm. Right now I'm working on my performance review while also doing work work because I hate writing performance reviews.
8PM meeting sucks. As does fear of losing jobs. I hope it's just actual help msbelle, and not a nefarious plot!
Although the lounge attendants were pretty nice and gave people blankets and eye shades, I still can't sleep . It's now 3:45AM here (or 1:45AM in the time zone I've been in the last two weeks). Yet for some reason I'm just not that sleepy, even though I woke up at 6AM (albeit after 12 hours sleep). I'm mostly worried I'll suddenly fall over right when I need to be getting my ass on a plane--once I'm on the plane I can sleep if I want (or at least try to)

Some of the original plot ideas are played with in S4, but no later than that. So if you were told those plans at the end of the season, it wouldn't spoil you for anything yet to happen.
Came home to discover that the cats were finger painting with moths high up on the kitchen walls. Today. Gonna have together the stepstool to read a few wing dust smears...
I've thought I heard my cell phone ringing before.
Gah. I got a burrito at Wegman's for dinner. I've had these burritos before, and they've always been a nice level of pleasantly spicy. Tonight, and I'm not sure whether it's a defective burrito or if I'm for some reason really oversensitive, my mouth feels like it's burning. Like, to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if there were blisters. No clue what's up with that. I'm eating some crackers to try to calm it down.
Ugh, I think I'll need to do 20/10s (20 minutes of performance review, 10 minutes on presentations for tomorrow) tonight until I finish.
I'm in Dubai--I flew Warsaw to Dibai, and then have an 11 hour layover before the 14 hour flight to Seattle. I wish lounges were this nice anywhere else! I've showered and eaten breakfast (the attendants at now trolling the seating area offering coffees or juice or whatever, rather than waiting for nonexistent customers in the dining area). Now to stay awake another 4 hours or so until I'm on the plane. Eek.
I love this: Robin Thicke says he bullshitted his way through 2013, never mind the repeat airing of the open secret that songwriting credits are bullshit too.
