Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

So many people are travelling now! It's exciting by proxy!

A whole bunch of people need to be duck taped to the wall.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Are those two posts related?

Have fun, travelling people! I need to rest up from my staycation, but shortly I think it'll be time to start planning for Iceland...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Have fun storming the Ecuador!

-t, are you going to Iceland for the eclipse? I was halfway planning to go to Iceland next year for the solar eclipse.

brillig

Every family should have someone who specializes in car repair. My faux-son came over last night to investigate why my Jeep's headlights don't come on. He poked around with his testing stuff, discovered all the fuses are good, then sat and pondered a few minutes. Then he flipped the high-beam switch back and forth a few times, and the lights came on. Seems the switch is wearing out, and it can get stuck between the low-beam and high-beam setting. That could have gotten very expensive in a shop that didn't have his troubleshooting skills. A free fix and a chance to brag on him!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Heh. That's happened to me twice (on two different cars). Too bad I didn't think of this when I saw your post.
