Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My deepest sympathies, Liese.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Condolences to you and your family, Liese.

Fort McHenry is under attaaaaaack!

Well, pretend attack. Cannons are booming this morning. It's a little unnerving until you remember what is going on....

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think you might need hallucinogenics to make your dreams more normal tormenting plot lines...

When you wake up to a google search result for jablonium, you just might be right. Like, literally woke up to it. I must have searched for it last night. And then had a random alarm set for 7:30 on a Saturday!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Other than trying to find some GD real shoes because it is 40 degrees out and all I can find are flip flops or heels.

Jesus, I had to wear non-sandals last night for the first time since May. DO NOT LIKE.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

There's an injured deer in the wooded area near my apartment. I was out walking the cat and saw the deer holding one leg off the ground while limping along on the other three. Now I'm waiting on a call back from the one wildlife rescue group I could find that might be open on the weekend. Poor thing. I'm not wild about them gnawing on my garden, but I'd rather not see one of them suffer.

So, apparently it's against the law to help adult deer in NC. But the wildlife rehab folks say that if a deer is able to get up and around (which this was) and has access to food and water (which this does) they'll generally heal well on their own. If anyone in NC needs wildlife rehab info, especially on the weekend, CLAWS Inc. seems nice. [link]
