You're a wild one, no doubt about that.
I just procrastinated some more by building a few slides for a presentation I need to deliver on Tuesday. REBEL YEAH.
'Potential'
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Following up on yesterday's "Successes" story:
Does the process give a "Success" alert when it's done? That would almost make sense.
The only alert is an "Unknown Message Type = INFO" alert that says "Import Complete".
So I don't know.
And she just said it again about a different process in a different system, so maybe it's just part of her personal idiom for some reason...I think I can tolerate it unless it starts spreading to other people...
Maybe find ways to forcefully use the word "succeed" around her, like a lot, so she twigs to the fact that it already has a perfectly servicable verb form?
That's probably more effort than I want to put in, but we'll see how it goes.
Ah, see, if it were me, the extra effort to prevent my head from exploding would be worth it. Your sumpsimus-ness [link] may vary.
Just tell her the internet is mocking her.
So the furnace was inspected, however my furnace is too old to have half of the things they look for. It doesn't look to be about to blow up, the parts he looked at seem to work, and he said we ought to replace it soon. I'm not sure how much of that is actual warning and how much of that is "I work for a furnace company, we sell furnaces, want to buy one?" Though he later said, "Some people replace old furnaces just because they're old." He made sure we had a CO monitor--we do, I replaced the batteries yesterday--and called it good for now.
He hated the crawlspace. Apparently our furnace has to be a horizontal one because of the crawlspace. Should have asked him what model it is.
Edit: another reason to be thinking of moving.
That's why I had mine put in the attic.
I've been spending a few hours digging into the living room. God, I hate having to pass judgement on all the stuff Hubby accumulated. There's just so much junk. I need to use the 20/10 method, 20 minutes cleaning, ten minute break.
Right at 8:30, I hear a crash. Since Brian's dad had been working in the roof earlier (and let's face it, I'm a fucking neighborhood busybody) I immediately went to investigate. Back in the alley, some jackass fucking jumped on his dad's windshield and threw a brick through another neighbor's driver window. Called Brian, he was on his way home still, went over and knocked and alerted his dad. Both called the cops, who still aren't here.
Ahrg.
But I had a nice chat with his dad mad the other neighbors?
