I'm trying really hard to be productive because I have so many deadlines, but it's really hard to find motivation when you're in the middle of a reorg.
Many of the key people I need to do my work are only focused on Ebola right now, and the country where most of my work relates to is going through a political/military crisis (don't call it a coup). It's a little tricky to get stuff done! Luckily (?) I have plenty of admin work to do....
Not to be a one-upper!
One thing I will say, people actually wash their hands in the bathroom here. Unlike my last job.
I was gonna say that my reorg anxiety doesn't really compete with Ebola. THANKS, JESSE.
Neither does the fact that I tried to grab a meat & cheese calzone at lunch so I could eat my feelings and discovered that it was a whole-wheat kale calzone upon cutting into it. I voluntarily eat kale all the time, but the lack of sausage and pepperoni was very disappointing to me today.
Timelies all!
brenda, I think I need that t-shirt.
MY cube-neighbor keeps using success as a verb and it is driving me nuts. Is that a common usage now?
Jeez, I hope not.
I will try to success a meeting tomorrow with someone who isn't paying attention to meeeeee due to the Ebola.
Is that right?
Fear me, I am attempting spray painting furniture. This is what happens when I find a cute-but-slightly-battered jewelry armoire for $13, and have binge-read a bunch of home decor blogs.
But for practice, I just spray painted a little jewelry box. If it works, I will have a b&w striped thing! If it doesn't, I've learned something. Right?
