All of you people are eating better than I am. Although I had nice black bean and corn salad leftover from the work picnic, to which I added quinoa.

I had my usual grilled Portobello and caramelized onion with feta, spinach and garlic aioli on a toasted rosemary ciabatta this morning (god, that thing is so good) and then TJs kale slaw take home salad with extra cabbage for dinner.

No empanadas guys at the market. But I have enough salad fixings, and with the days off...

My hands and wrists are sore and I'm not sure how much is the grinding rather than battling fellow swimmers. I have bruises on both hands from this week at Parkville. And elsewhere.

Ugh, I am so friggin' tired. Yesterday I went to work, came home early (kids were not in school so DH & I split childcare duties), spent 3 hours moving furniture and boxes out of the living room to make it habitable again, and then hosted 3 11yo girls for a sleepover party. Which involved lots of yelps and screams, several dropped bottles of fingernail polish, and very little sleep. Today I spent the afternoon moving more boxes and furniture out of my sister's apt since we want to be OUT OUT OUT by Monday.

Arggh! AT some point finishing some of the work of clearing out shit has to translate to a feeling of relief, right? I'm not even asking for happiness or sense of accomplishment, I'm just tired of every step leaving me feeling more existentially bereft than before.

We're staying on the Executive level at our hotel, and so far I've chatted with Gigi Edgley and only realized it was her after we got off the elevator, saw Lani John Tupu and James & Sean Gunn, and passed Karl Urban in the hallway as he was coming out of his room.

K's been sick which is not the best because of the 4 day weekend. Noah's been up and down today and I just can't. I restricted him from playing outside and from screens. Now I'm exhausted.

Next weekend, I am doing a big grocery run/meal-making situation. Every meal I am planning will be crockpot-able. It's running the gamut from potato soup to bacon wrapped chicken with rosemary (and a hoppin' john in between). If any LAista wants to join me, let me know and I'll get more groceries if you'll bring Ziplocs for yourself and split some of the grocery bill.

Probably. I know my dad finally got there with clearing out his brother's stuff. Everyone is different, but he was in a similar state to where you are now with it. Once he gave the landlord the keys back and could tell himself he never had to go back to that apartment, that went a long way.

I don't like flea's house thing! It does not sound like good juju to buy a house in poor repair. I just got done sending an email to my sellers to figure out some weird issues (why would an HVAC grille seem to screw from the attic?), so they're not all bad!
