Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
I have a lot of stuff I want and need to do this long weekend, so maybe it's time for a public to-do list! My grandmother and uncle/aunt will be staying in my apartment next week, so it's got to be clean.
- vacuum (including upstairs - my mother and I made a deal to trade mopping for vacuuming)
- clean bathroom
- dust all
- straighten bedroom
- laundry (including sheets)
- dishes + other kitchen
- work -- reviews + other
- beach
- long walk
- groceries (walk to TJ's?)
- pedicure
- hang mirror, etc.
OK, maybe that's it? I think one load of laundry this morning and deal with the kitchen will be a good start. Vacuum after visiting dad mid-day.

....And it looks like there's a coup in the country where most of my work over the past 8 months has been about working with the government. So that's nice.

Found out from my folks that a woman from their synagogue who had been sort of a surrogate grandmother to me(and a surrogate mother to my dad right after his mom died) just died. She was 103, which is a good run, but its still a bit sad.
