Buffy? I like that. That girl's so hot, she's buffy.

I spent the evening cleaning out my bathroom cabinets, which was quite satisfying, even if only I will ever notice.

But now my stupid wifi is being weird.

Also, I am watching "House Hunters: Off the Grid"--people moving to Bhutan. $20/month, for a house, but no indoor running water (tap outside!) and tigers?? Oh, but hey, at that one you can get internet. For $60/month you can have a squat toilet and a spout to collect water in a bucket to pour over yourself. But no internet. And no tigers!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yes, but did they lament the lack of an open concept living area and granite counters?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't watch those shows, but that made me laugh.

Last chance to wear white pants to the office for the year! Until I decide I'm not bothering to follow that rule, but it's a good excuse for me to have worn white jeans 3/5 days this week.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I just figured out why our performance review form made no sense to me -- I was looking at an old version! Which made no sense! Luckily, I figured this out before my 10am meeting with my boss to go over my review. And also before I spent any time on my reports' reviews, which I'm doing next week. Maybe I will be able to write them today?

That reminds me, I should really read my new job description at some point.

Y'all. My parents gave me n extra pressure cooker they had lying around and I just want to stay home and play with it. It will supposedly work with my induction burner!

Is this a variety of geek joy? Feels like geek joy.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Awesome. You could make a steam engine!

Can I do that and still use it to cook? Must ponder.

Question of the day - do I want my cannoli with my coffee now or in a couple hours with my tea?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I haven't had enough coffee yet to formulate a good "take the cannoli" joke.

I will take such a joke as having been made.

I decided to have it with coffee.

I am not entirely certain I had breakfast before I left the house. That seems like something I should know one way or the other.
