Burrell is wise--I called the UCLA position and asked if it was closed and they said not yet, things were just moving slowly. I told them I'd like to get a chance to show off my writing skills, and she said she'd check if I'm still in the running.

Our house was built in 1938, so we are kind of just-before-mid-century. This is our dining room set: [link] But with a sideboard and without the cool curtains. I love it SO MUCH. The whole shebang cost us $1,000 on CL. I'd love to do our whole house in Heywood-Wakefield, but it's usually WAY too expensive. Plus my husband loves Mission style, so a lot of our stuff is in that style.
Ooh, that's a great dining room!
Oh, my actual house is from the early 20th C, but I forget when.
Argh! Why is my company still supporting a program that's 8 years old! 5 versions back! We're not Microsoft! The only reason people still use is it is because they don't want to go to the subscription model! And the people who use this version run cheap computers, too. And they get supremely pissy when we tell them their setups are barely hanging on.
Good lord, the install files are so old they can't recognize the amount of RAM on the computer, and so it's saying the computer doesn't meet system requirements. There cannot be negative RAM!

Why am I still working on Windows XP
Oh, I wish this person was on XP. No, we're on Vista. The program knows how to cope with XP.
Tim's used to be owned by Wendy's so it's not an unfamiliar road.
Hello, I had to google to figure out how to scroll on the trackpad today. Been using Windows for a long time.

I've never heard of Tim Horton, but this still pisses me off. Burger King wants to exploit a tax loophole that will save them billions in taxes by merging with a foreign company.

Lots of companies have been doing this recently--it's costing the US tons in lost tax revenue.
