I may have linked to pages that were just information-ish about children with ADHD, which wouldn't have been as specific as stuff about 504 plans/IEPs. I wish I knew more stuff off the top of my head, but my wheelhouse is more adults with ADD, rather than kids.

Oh, here's another expertise-I-don't-have question: If a house is for sale, googling the address should turn something up right?
I owuld think so, Jesse.
Steph - that is part of the crux of my problem. He is in school but also a psuedo-adult.
Correct, Jesse.
So I have hardware cloth to block the entrance to the crawlspace where the undetermined animal is getting in. But it was $17 for tin snips, so I'll try to borrow some from my sister.
On the walk back from the hardware store (I LOVE having a hardware store I can walk to!) I passed the grand opening of the new business in the neighborhood: a kettle corn shop/production facility. They were giving out samples, and I grabbed a small package of the sea salt/caramel, which is very good. They also have savory types, like spicy chipotle lime, and BBQ, and so forth.
I'm not sure that a purely retail shop would survive here, but if they're also using it as their production facility, it ought to do okay. Nice to see, anyway.
That sounds like a nice addition to the neighborhood.
I napped a bit and I think that may have been a mistake.
My cat Shadow loves graham crackers. I did not know this about him. I'm happily munching on one, and then there's the most delicate paw on my knee, a pathetic mew, and giant yellow eyes in a fuzzy black face. And he happily crunched up several small bits. Odd little cat.
OMG, a popcorn store in the neighborhood would be my undoing. Our hardware store does give out free popcorn on the weekend, though!
I have spent most of the day transporting and unpacking boxes and throwing shit away. I get a break now, right?
ON the plus side, morning was spent celebrating a certain girl's 11th year. It's not every year your young lass turns 11, as Hagrid would say.
Way late in my context for an earlier reaction, but wanted to put it out there. When Robin Williams died, I was also dealing with the fact that one of our dear family friends, also a man in his 60s with two kids I babysat for years, had also committed suicide the week before. I was watching how it impacted the whole family and grieving. So ita, I actually agree that no one can say what the right answer is for an individual, and maybe sometimes suicide is the only answer. I just wasn't able to debate it then.
Oh Pix, I'm sorry, that's so hard.
