We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Very cool looking, dcp!!

Oy--ONE DAY not even without internet, but without MUCH internet (I had my phone, but was calling with it, or tethering to my work computer, etc, and it's slow) and I was going up the walls. SO glad to have it back, but dang, that's pathetic of me.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

On the train to Holyhead, eventually ending up in Dublin. Bought wi-fi access, because I'm a sad Internet junkie.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

When I was in London a few years ago, I found myself going to Internet Cafes just so that I could get online as part of my daily routine, so I sure won't criticize.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am much happier now that I turned the email checking feature off of my phone. Before I was getting beeps every few minutes and it was really annoying. But I don't do well with no internet. My BFF and I spent a day trying to remember things instead of looking them up online. It took us all day to come up with the name Donald O'Conner for the other guy SInging in the Rain. It was fun, but I enjoy finding things on the internet.

I also have cramps FROM THE DEVIL. I have taken far more than the recommended amount of ibuprofen and I still feel like my uterus is being attacked by a grapefruit fork. And also like there is something inside me that wants to come out. I have to be at work today, too, because there is so much to do, but I can barely sit still. These are the days I like to spend in bed, mildly tipsy, pretending I am a Victorian woman with laudanum. Maybe if I had some laudanum if would feel better

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am confident you would feel better with some laudanum. Sorry about the cramps.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

On the train to Holyhead, eventually ending up in Dublin. Bought wi-fi access, because I'm a sad Internet junkie.

There's free wifi on the ferry! But you probably know that by now.

People! We need to decide if we want to make an offer on this house today. [link] I am calling mr. flea at 12:00. It's a FSBO, owned by the same guy for 40 years, well-maintained (and lovely) but lacking central air (and it has radiators, so harder to add central air) and much of the wiring appears to be knob and tube (but not currently problematic, according to the owner). Great location; yard on the small side. Currently the two apartments are rented for a total of $2650; one is on a month to month and the other is divorcing and plans to move out within a few months. An easy place to rent, given location and charm. We'd probably live on the 2nd floor apartment.

I do not know whether I want to offer or not. If we lived there and rented the other apartment, we'd only need to contribute $600 a month to cover mortgage+tax+insurance...
