I am sure this makes me really uncool, but I find Adventure Time weird and creepy. Especially the song.
I just ordered the next three volumes of Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heros (using the Amazon affiliate link!). I have no impulse control when I have a jones for story.
Edit: though I didn't use expedited shipping.
tommyrot, I'm so sorry for your loss, but glad that you got those last lucid moments together. Fuck.
Welcome to the world, oh marvelously-named Matilda Juniper!
Congratulations, Gris! She's lovely!
Congrats, Gris and family!
Aw, a new Matilda. Clearly poised to be as awesome as our first.
I can vouch for the utility of this name.
Speaking of Matilda 1.0, she's starting 3rd grade on Monday.
Welcome to the world, new Matilida.
I''ve been having the ofiest day. Went to visit Colin to finally take him out for birthday drinks. Ended up feeling really sick afterwards and had to lie down before I could drive home. But I think in the meanwhile I might have convinced Colin to have his boy's birthday party in LA, and I would make the cake. Baby's first sugar...
Burrell, Colin says he'll come shooting with us if he's in town, and he sounds down with the LAX location, although he's probably done more shooting than either of us.
I decided I didn't want to cook after all, so I ordered from a restaurant that's considered one of the most popular in town, and I've had decent food from them before. I hope this was just a case of them deciding to foist the overcooked fettuccini on a delivery who is too far away from management to complain efficiently. Otherwise their fettuccini is always a glutinous, overcooked mushy mess. And the cheesebread is apparently done with a basic French bread loaf--or maybe a hoagie roll, I'm not sure.
Bleh. Then again, Hubby and I used to smuggle garlic into this restaurant. I forgot that. Well, I know better now.
