And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks for taking all that action in my absence from the computer, Pix. I've written her enough explanation for her to start regretting considering it in the first place, I'm sure.

Keep 'em coming, folks! Entertainment reporter wasn't something I was going to think of myself--it's perfect. My brain is still stuck on duplicating that angle and transcribing that interview.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You guys, I just went looking on craigslist for a hammock, and found one for a ferret! [link] Who knew??

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Judging from what I saw at the humane society we used to volunteer at, ferrets love those things.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So do I! But I need a bigger one. And not also a ferret.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Now I'm stuck in Euclid: The Game.

hip deep in pie

Loved the interview ita.

I think social media, esp, twitter and tumblr, changed a lot of things between fandom and their...objects? It's more immediate and personal all around, for better or worse.

It's kind of amazing in an awful way when factions of fandom turn on people. For instance, Lana Del Ray was reviewed by the Guardian, said some strange things, then accused the writer on Twitter of manipulating her. So, some of her fans attacked, even though he's got a recording of her saying what he printed he said. [link] It'd be interesting to hear from someone who has been though a fandom attack. Either a creator or bystander.

Hil, I would never have guessed. Have you completed 11? Any hints? I don't want to look in the comments, because sometimes they just show you the solution.

Thanks, Sue!

Interesting. Let me see what I can find.

Yeah, I finished 11. I'm stuck at 19.

I enjoyed the interview, ita. I'll look forward to any others you post.

My new passport arrived today. The other one expired last month, so I had to send off for a replacement. Given that I only leave the US every couple of years, it suprised me how uncomfortable I felt without having it handy. I guess I want to be able to jet off at a moment's notice, should my life's plot line call for it. Well, now I can--yay!

Yeah, I finished 11.

Can I have a hint? What's the first tool you used?

I swear I read someone else being stuck at 19 too. I don't know if it's because of my aged geometry knowledge, but they don't strictly seem to be increasing in complexity. Or they are, and I'm sometimes making great guesses, sometimes bad.

Thank you! It was so fun to do, and I learnt a lot.

Okay, if I transscribe on the balconly in the Adirondack chair, it'll go faster, right? That and problem 11.
