I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sorry, meara.

That's a good point, billytea.

Wah, the pool was closed at the gym. No swim for me today. Got my new toiletry bag into my locker, at least, and confirmed that it does make showering much pleasanter.

I'd like to report I've been really productive on this burn vacation day, but I cannot. Woke up in a panic thinking I'd overslept a( at 5:30? Um, brain?) and remembered I had the day off a full 10m later.

So now I'm well slept and am trying a reboot. Going to go get supplies.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh, meara -- hope things work out.

I have found frozen pancakes to do just fine in the toaster oven, but I guess they wouldn't in a regular toaster.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

If pancakes are the right size and thickness they do just fine in the toaster.

I've never tried that, although my pancakes (and waffles for that matter) are usually on the small side. Toaster oven is a good idea when I'm at home (we don't have those at work). I don't mind nuked pancakes, myself.

In fact, gonna have some (nuked pancake bars, that is) right now.

BTW, the moon was really pretty this morning. Is this our second or third "supermoon" in the trilogy? I've lost track.

ETA: enjoy your enforced vacation, sara!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Ugh, I overslept and I'm groggy this morning, but I think it's a triumph that even after hitting the snooze forever I made it into the office just after 9.

Mostly what happened is, I'm an idiot? Ugh

I counter your claims of idiocy with a guy who was on the Blue Line train with me yesterday. He thought the Blue Line was a bullet train to downtown Chicago, and grew increasingly agitated as he found out it would take over an hour due to construction. Even without construction it takes about an hour. Proper preparation, dude.
