We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Yeah, I'm with zen and sj, the others aren't really interview wear, it looks like. (I mean, hard to say in some cases when on a hanger vs on a body, but).

In a separate post, they finally sent me the culture results from my urgent care visit on Sunday--the rapid strep was negative but they said they'd culture it. I thought that meant they'd see what it was, but apparently they only tested to see if it was strep. Which it wasn't. But my throat still fucking hurts and the antibiotics seem to only be making me tummy unhappy. It's been almost a week now where I'm downing slurpees and watermelon probably two meals a day because other things hurt to eat.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I'm a strong vote for #2. It says, I have style, I have moxie, but I'm here to kick business ass. Like a motherfucking lady.

That last link...bwah.

I'm on the second link bandwagon.

meara - sorry you aren't feeling better.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think dress #3 is also interview-appropriate, but agree that #2 looks the most SRS BSNS.

Ouch, meara. I hope you magically get better.

B.org is in the Joss bio? Weird!

The author is definitely buffista-adjacent. Has she never posted here?

I agree on Dress #2. Also, where in UCLA? Because their dress varies by Department.

The blue might have been mine. It certainly DOES look like me. I remember having something in that fabric, but not that jacket. Maybe I was just with you when you got it, back when I was thin.

We are home!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Also, where in UCLA?

UCLA Health IT. I don't know how they break it down past that. My original boss there said "dress as you would like to be seen" when I asked him what his department's dress code was, which has to be up there with most useless information. He was a great boss, otherwise.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Good luck on the interview, ita. My fashion sense isn't, so I won't offer it.

tommyrot, all good thoughts to your dad.

The bear looked like he was on fours over rough or more thickly wooded ground, and upright on open or flat ground--possibly the height gave him better visual advantage? But yeah, hi, Bigfoot!

ETA: meara, I'd have them re-culture for all possibles. This doesn't seem minor, not to last this long without a diagnosis, or any relief from the ABX.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, the book quoted Joss's thank you for the Variety ad.

So my dad's not in great shape--they're going to try to wean him off the breathing tube and see what happens.

We're thinking someone should drive to Clintonville to pick up my mom tomorrow, so I think I'll stay at the hotel in Shawano after all.
