Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I tried calling but I was put on hold for ten minutes before giving up.

It was dumb of me to get a non-refundable reservation, but under the circumstances I can forgive myself.

It turns out the hospital in Appleton was full so they're sending him to Theda Clark in Neenah.

I'm at the Lake Forest Oasis eating Panda Express orange chicken.

ION, is the Joss book being discussed anywhere? It's weird reading about stuff I was involved in.

b.org has bee mentioned once so far.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, tommy. Is there a point where they'll say "Yes. We have him in a bed in hospital X" so you can know where you're aiming for? Or maybe you could just drive around doing good deeds and then leaving town until everything is settled.

Either way, best of health to your father, man.

I need some advice with interview wear. Well, I need to find out what I fit in first, butI only have one vaguely traditional suit (least likely to fit). Two of my outfits are vintage dresses, empire cut, with jackets in contrasting colours--one has a lining that matches the skirt portion of the dress, for instance). Am I doing myself a disservice not wearing a matching jacket and skirt? The third outfit is that, but Cake ("short skirt, long jacket").

One of my recruiters last time round asked me not to wear one of the dresses to an interview. And I got the job. Not sure if related...

Art Crawl!!!

Bear - do bears regularly walk around like this?

I'm not sure why all the comments about the video format when it's a video of a bear walking on it's hindlegs MORE than on all fours!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I hope your Dad is OK, tommyrot, and that he ends up in a deterministic location.

I have no dress advice for ita.

Kale, cauliflower, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts are all the same species of plant.

They're wrong. Cauliflower is a species of plant cross-bred with Satan.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

How short is the skirt, ita?

And can you post pix? That would make it easier to decide.

Strix, here they are (obviously ironing needs to happen, look better on, etc).

Dresses:

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

ita, I think the second dress would be good for an interview.
