Right? I want something to dab on the back of my neck, and I promise not to lick it off.

I have met people who put Advantage (maybe Frontline, it was a while back) on their heads and swear it works to keep ticks off.
The Gaza situation, since I am not a parent, is how I'm beginning to understand why mothers say "I don't *care* who started it. Stop it."
I'd love to do that with Advantage or Frontline but am afraid.
Grace has another doc appointment tomorrow at UCLA. This is her 4th doc appointment of the week. AND she will have surgery next Tuesday which will be her 5th surgery since we started summer vacation. (Also, another fun fact, we drove 4200+ travel miles - vs. commuting miles or appointment miles -- this month).
I am sooper tired right now.
My friend K is watching Sex in the Wild (last night's ... Inspiration) and messaging me.
She's more disturbed by the dissection of the road kill and the presenters enthusiasm for kangaroo sex than the echidna masturbation. She's just weird.
Kat, that is exhausting.
I am sooper tired right now.
I am not surprised. That is a lot.
I am not sure how reliable the guy who advised me about human application of Advantage or Frontline might be. As I recall he was Some Guy At a Park with a Dog During Business Hours. Which could go either way in terms of reliability.
My Mean Crepuscular Volume seems to be consistently just a little under the normal range. I am weirdly gratified by the consistency.
Oh, where's Sox: speaking of our Greek speaking uncle. When K saw him this time she said, "He looks like Grandpa but he talks a lot more."
I *was* enjoying this nice glass of wine. WOMM.
Dear K, your relations will now introduce you to the Secret Order of the Golden Ear.
Wonderful faux-son made a huge dent in the storage shed, and we just did a quick walkthrough to see what I wanted to keep of what's left and what is to go to other fates (recycling, trash, thrift store). My god, my beloved was a pack rat. The objectively interesting stuff is in the garage, and I have several days of looking at things to decide fates. Many boxes of comics. Some game stuff that has never been used which should do well on eBay. A very old Atari system, and an ancient Mac that lived in a backpack, one of the old cube ones with the itty bitty screens. It was portable, see the backpack. The keyboard is in a separate pouch velcroed to the backpack. Hubby saw it many years ago, thought it was cool. "Honey, can I?" I had no defense against.
Do you guess remember when Joss had a baby, we sent him handknitted gifts (as well as a book donation. Ann Weber knit a blanket, and I knit a sweater, and I think someone else made a little hat. I know my sweater was mostly orange wool.
Does anyone remember what the hat looked like? I just was reading the chapter on Firefly that has been exerpted from the new Joss bio, and got to thinking-- did we inspire Jayne's hat?
