I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So there was a tornado pretty near by here today! We had a pretty crazy thunderstorm at my office, but then it was immediately sunny out. And humid, which makes no sense to me.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds pretty whack.

Possibly of interest to ita: [link]

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Mum got through surgery just fine, and is now back to her cranky strongly-annoyed-with-dad self. She says she swears she's been swindled, as she feels so good she's sure nothing was actually done. She's also sure that she'll be feeling it soon over the next few days.

ION, here's to hoping my parent's kick my older brother out of the house. It's sad, but he's stealing money, stealing the cars at night to buy booze and probably drugs, and driving my little brother up the wall by being constantly in his personal space because living in my room sucks, I know, it was mine.

However, the result of doing so are him basically being homeless, or my parents paying for an apartment, which is still enabling, since he has no job, won't get no job, and has no friends who will take him in. Him staying means the continuing fracturing of my family and me never going home again, which is just going to add to that, and may possibly lead to my family joining ranks against me for not being willing to put up with the shit that they are.

Edited for double and possibly triple negatives, in the case of the latter I probably technically could have gotten away with not editing.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm glad your mom's doing ok, Juliebird. Sorry about the rest.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Is it a problem that I'm pouring myself a rusty nail before I sit down to write? oops

New froggy is cute. Still not sure what it is, but more hopeful that we can keep it alive long enough to find out. Of interest: terrariums are way cheaper than aquariums. That was a nice surprise.

brillig

You could name your frog Audrey and see what it grows into.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yikes, ita, sorry about the interview.

Julie, glad your mom's doing well, and sorry about the family and brother troubles. I hope they come to their senses.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, I have the periodic Natter question. What's the site you guys recommend for buying frames online?

Zenni Optical is the cheapest. I got some at Coastal Contacts one time, still pretty cheap. My current glasses are Warby Parker.

I suggested Kermit, Connie, but I think Franny was leaning towards her brother's suggestion of Skipper. We'll see.
