Not sure if it's worthwhile, but you might consider finding a sublet to arrive here. I'd at least check Craigslist because it is summer after all.

Also what I did when I moved to Seattle--Plei checked for me and it was some girl who was traveling for her job for six weeks. I flew out with a few suitcases and my stuff came eventually and was put in storage until I found my actual apartment (where I lived for over two years)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, goodness. DH's high school reunion recently happened, I guess - some of his classmates just sought me out on facebook to let me know they are making a donation in his memory. People can be awfully sweet.

I'm gonna go with afterglow, tommyrot. So good to see your happy posts!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Unfortunately I have work to do now, because I really want to finish the post production work on my photos from Pride yesterday so I can post then online.

Last night I went through the photos with Anna and we debated various ways of cropping some of the photos. She has a very good eye for interesting people. She also loved my photos and wants prints of four of them--she wants to hang some on her walls.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm all grins reading about Tommy and Anna. Of course she loves your photos! We have already determined she has good taste.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

This Monday is approximately 1,000% more Mondayish than most Mondays are.

(This post brought to you by the team of I Cannot Do Anything Right At My Job And I Think If My Boss Could Smack Me Through The Internet She Would.)

Yes. Once again, my brain isn't working. Tea only helped a little. I'm working on a weird, challenging bug for a client--normally I love problems like this, but not today.

With you on the UberMondayness. My portable charger wouldn't jumpstart my car, so I had to arrrange to have it towed and hitch a ride to work with my mom. And while I was on the phone with the garage, building maintenance was trying to reach me to tell me my toilet had sprung a leak and was dripping on the apartment below.

I'm now at work with no car and a questionable frozen dinner and cookies as my lunch options.
