We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Oh, Theo, your poor friend. That's just way too much shit at once.

I decided not to run this morning, and I'm going to clean house and do laundry, really. Once I get off the couch.

... but not yet.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

So much peace~ma to your friend, Theodosia. How heartbreaking.

Oh Plei, so sorry about L. I hope that they figure out what's going on -- such scariness!

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

What a scary morning. Fingers crossed for everyone.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I took the pipes apart! But still couldn't find the clog. I guess I will have to call a plumber. Bah.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

All good thoughts to Tickybox and her family.

I am currently flat on my back on the sofa with the dog on my legs, which would be a lot nicer if it were by choice, and not because my back and neck hurt enough that I had to take too much pain medicine to be able to go have brunch with Juliana and her mom in SF and then maybe stop by the parade, which was the original plan.

Getting old can bite me

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I feel for your friend, Theo. I know what it's like to have everything pile on.

Fun fact from wandering down the rabbit hole of the history of Confederate flags: The first Army of Northern Virginia battle flags were made of the silk available for sale for women's dresses. Only women of ill repute wore bright red, so there wasn't much bright red available. Some of the first flags were therefore pink, white and blue.
