Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Why has she never noticed that other people don't write e-mails like that?

One of my coworkers does that. It irritates everyone and she's been asked to write emails normally and she won't. I think she believes if she just does it enough, everyone else will realize her way is best.

I'm lucky in that there are few people on FB that I really have to keep in contact with, like family, so if I can't stand something someone says, I'm able to call them out with no regard for repercussions and then block/unfollow if they get obnoxious. My nieces generally agree with my views on important stuff. My BFF's teenage daughter is a good person, but they live in Redneck-Backwardville, TN, and the kid listens to her dumbass classmates too much.

Thrive to spite them

Jesse depending on the plan and the computer it might be a good deal. They'll only repair up tothe cost of hte computer so if it wans't expensive might not be worth it. But the tech support is really good for people who aren't tech savvy. My dad has used tech support tons.

He has a tendancy to download things that say he should rather than making sure they are legit. Plus they came out and helped him figure something else out.

My mother's not bad, and getting better all the time. I did tell her I wasn't going to help her!

The discussion of Confederate symbols has once again highlighted the world's ugliest statue

Ugh. I knew exactly which statue you meant before clicking the link. It's hideous.

Me too. I had blocked it from my mind.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm not commenting on any FB posts about the confederate flag, because my only instinct is to be sarcastic, and I realize that doesn't help anything (except my own satisfaction at snarking at people who I disagree with).

There has been an admirable amount of restraint here. It isn't easy but I just can't engage where I know it will yield nothing but frustration.

Is someone talking about banning Confederate flags? I hadn't heard that.

See also Obama taking away your guns and making Sharia law the law of the land.

Maybe it is time to clean up my FB friend list again. I block most of the sites the offenders link to and that helps. But more action might be needed.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

That is the god-awfulest thing I have ever seen. I'd much rather have to see Belinda every day than that abomination of a statue.

You know what? The closeup of the scary Joker mouth honestly made me laugh and laugh. (I know that's not the intent of that statue, but it's pretty damn hilarious to me. WHY SO SERIOUS, UNION?)

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I've always thought I had seen all of the Gilmore Girls, but there are a good number of episodes I had never seen. They did a TERRIBLE job which the Lorelei giving birth flashbacks.
