I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So I was right, beercade = good times!

I have the opposite problem, Zen. Cushiony mats help some, but my counters are all a few inches higher than is really comfortable, although that bothers me less when I'm using the sink than when I'm trying to knead bread or roll out pie dough on the counter. ETA: do you use a washbasin? Maybe you could stack on on some sort of pedestal to raise it to a more comfortable height?

A guy I worked with told me he put kitchen cabinets in his bathroom because they are taller and he and his wife are both tall. FWTW.

I made it to the secondary gym. My membership is via a program with my health insurance. I pay a monthly fee and get access and it is cheaper than getting a membership through the gym. so now I have access and I went to try to swim (the whole reason I want the membership - my local rec center has all the equipment I need). pool was a madhouse. there are only 3 lap lanes - I do not feel I am a good enough swimmer yet to jump in a share a lane with a stranger - also my swim cap ripped and I was afraid to go in without one with the newly highlighted hair, so I walked, and ran through about 4 feet deep water in a lithe corner back and forth and back and forth for about 25 min. long enough that I think my legs will be a little sore.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

-t, I might be able to rig up something that would raise it to a workable height. I'll think on it. Thanks for the inspiration!

Good for you, msbelle! If it's only 2 people per lane, offer to split the lane unless what you're worried about is not going straight. Circle swim is the devil.

Beercade was good times!

I'm excavating everything from under the bed and dusting. It's disgusting under there and there definitely are things I'm throwing out, and now I'm wishing I'd waited to do laundry, because I'm already coated in dust.

Our wings are not tired.

Beercade does indeed sound fun and I don't even drink beer.

That is a good idea, -t. I should rig up a raised basin for my overly tall people.

It is designated circle swim and I cannot flip turn and I am not sure I swim straight. I have not swum in probably 5 years, I know I have not even put on a swimsuit in 3 until today. I do not like the body I currently have, but I pushed through it.

Walking in water is a good workout, msbelle. Way to go. Last time I was faced with having to split a lane I just bailed on the swim entirely, I'm afraid.
