Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Happy Birthday, Teppy! Show your ID and get a sparkler to stick in that waffle!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

My cubemates are reviewing "Inside Out": "So, it's a typical Pixar movie?" "Yeah, an emotional kick in the balls." "Oh, like Up?" "Well, Up was the first fifteen minutes, this is the whole movie."

These are all late-20s guys.

Yeah, Tim's 18-year-old nephew saw it with a bunch of friends and said about half the guys were crying. He wouldn't admit whether he cried.

Sooooo I should possibly skip this in the theatre, and wait to watch it at home with lots of tissues and maybe Xanax. Okay.

I have found my dream home:

That's a beautiful place, but the dining room wallpaper makes it looks like Dexter and Hannibal Lecter prepared dinner.

Las Vegas, Nevada, is 102 degrees. Las Vegas, New Mexico, is 72. I suppose it's too late to change my trip. I'm sure the hotels in Vegas, NM, don't have the same level of decadence, though.

"But"? That's a feature, not a bug!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

the dining room wallpaper makes it looks like Dexter and Hannibal Lecter prepared dinner.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

I'm just saying, dogwood or cherry blossoms might be a bit more appetizing.

edit: Though appetizing may not be the word I want to use in this context.
