On the roof? That is some serious snaking!
No kidding! I didn't even know that could be a thing??
Jesse, were you thinking of pickling and decided not to? (WTF is in pickling spice, anyway?)
I am amused at the idea of stoned Zenkitty.
...have not yet accomplished anything other than breakfast.
I'm definitely going to pickle, but the pickling spice is just combo of spices that I mostly already have AND there was a "pepper combo" thing on sale that should do the trick. It's cinnamon, allspice, mustard, coriander, bay leaves, ginger, chili, cloves, pepper, cardamom, and mace.
I have accomplished breakfast, lunch, and the purchase of bagels. I have much much more to do today, but I can't figure out where my energy and motivation went.
Woke up, thought "More sleep!", thought "High of 97 with unrelenting sun, and stuff to do that involves going outside!" Got up, took out lots of bags of recycling, sat on porch and envied people who could just sit on their porches on cool summer mornings without feeling guilty. Came in, consolidated CD packaging and assembled a couple of bags to go to thrift store, balked at idea of driving out where The Orb is, opened closet where many of Hubby's projects live, sat and watched Martha Stewart make po'boys and muffalettas while I cried and thought about the huge pile of stuff I have to go through, went and washed dishes so I can fry up a ham steak for lunch and make meat loaf for dinner. And it's just past 1:30.
OK, so maybe I have done a lot. Later, after my ham steak, I'll assemble more clothes so I can go to the aggressively air-conditioned Laundromat on Monday evening after work, and take pictures for eBay while watching RDJ as Sherlock Holmes.
I am not sure I even understand how you would snake a sink from the roof, but it sounds hard core.
I also want to see pictures of walking a cat. I have attempted twice. The first time, I ended up with a 25 pound cat on my head, and the second was when my (former) cat tried to kill me and almost succeeded.
Yeah, we're supposed to go to a music festival today where our buddy is playing, but it's 99 out there and it's 73 in here (without air conditioning, yay passive cooling architecture) and I'm pretty sure we're not going. It's ten bucks for music, or thirty bucks for music and beer. And I just paid thirty bucks plus travel to support him at a gig a few weeks back. I'm pretty sure I'm not sitting in hundred degree weather and drinking ten beers.
Have just discovered that Codename: Kids Next Door is on YouTube. All plans in danger.
Went out for our normal diner breakfast and thence to the warehouse pet food discount store. Now back, locked up in the office, keeping the animals company while the guys tile the shower. They say they should be done by Tuesday!!!
Espresso brownies are in the oven. It kind of sucks to be baking goodies that I can't even eat.
