I have a picnic planned for Monday, so lots of baking and cleaning the house in case it rains. In between moaning about my tooth and freaking out about an interview.

What are people doing this weekend?
Watching a horror movie with friends tonight, going out dancing with the StuntHusband tomorrow night.
What are people doing this weekend?
I already did what I was planning for the weekend! My sister and I might go junk-shop treasure-hunting tomorrow morning before she goes back home. And I'm continuing my quest to clean out closets. For entertainment, I'm going to go see Jurassic World.
Hapy Birthday Plei!!
I want something. I can't figure out what.
Pony?
Went to see Jurassic World this afternoon, and it made me very happy. It is what it is, a summer actioner, but a summer actioner with a sense of its own history and a deft hand at storytelling. I will forgive a movie a lot if it shows skill with what plot elements it has to hand.
And I wasn't even rooting for the kids to get eaten, like I was in the first one.
Pony?
I don't think so. More in the way of something to eat, probably.
Weekend plans: we'll probably do storytime at the bookstore tomorrow morning, and maybe get out the sprinkler or kiddie pool in the afternoon. Or go to the splash park? Then on Sunday, if the weather isn't stormy, we might drive down the Natchez Trace a ways (stopping for a Father's Day breakfast at the Loveless Cafe) and find somewhere to go swimming. Basically, spend as much time in the water as we can.
Today we went to Legoland and spent most of the morning in the water park there, so I can relate, Kate. Every day this week, we've filled the kiddie pool and had water fights. We have a plan for a pool day on Wednesday.
The traffic back from legoland was dreadful and now I am too tired to move.
