Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

About half the time in Boston, I seem to get put in a Pre-Check lane even though I don't have it. It's great!

Punishingly Intricate

I did the TSA Precheck thing and my experience was like amyth's except that the office at BWI is closer to me. It has been so worth it!

Pre-Check is domestic only, but signing up for the international (Global Entry) gets you Pre-Check domestic and special lanes for customs, etc., for $100.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Yeah, in retrospect, I wish I had done Global Entry. I'm going to do that when my KTN expires.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

StuntHusband has done the TSA Precheck, and is thrilled with it. I'm considering doing Global Entry, especially since it looks like I'll be doing more visits to the Ottawa and Copenhagen offices.

brillig

I don't think I'm going to become so much the mad travelers that I'll require special handling.

Hm, I wonder where all Amtrak goes that's fun? Anymore, it's not stuff I want, it's places I want to go.

Always Anti-fascist!

Cool, Jilli. Always wanted to see Copenhagen(my great-grandpa immigrated from it)

What Sparky said--I signed up for Global Entry, and while I only leave the country a few times a year, it's pretty sweet. And gets me precheck, which is really why I signed up. Though the precheck lines are getting longer and longer as they funnel more and more people through them, which is annoying to me...but I'm happy to not take out my laptop or take off my shoes.

(I think this is how the terrorist win: when the government takes away so much that you're happen when you get a few things back...when you would've been annoyed at the beginning to be where you end up...)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think It's been nine or ten years since I've flown anywhere. Just too much of a hassle. (I like the flying part, though.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I seem to have pre-check with United, although I seriously don't remember signing up for it.
