When I was buying my first brand-new car in 2009, the Fit was #3 on my list, behind Mazda and Hyundai hatchbacks. I bought the Hyundai, and I now kinda wish I'd given the other two another look. The Hyundai has lots of room, but it isn't as quick as I'd like, even given that it's a 4-cylinder, and it's pretty unhappy going more than 70 mph too. I think I'd have been happier with the Mazda.
The news from Charleston made me sad and sick.
I've almost entirely stopped watching the news. I was watching the 24/7 news cycle and it was making me depressed and angry. Had to go cold turkey. Now I get breaking news from Twitter and commentary from Jon Stewart, and that's it. I don't even watch Rachel Maddow anymore, though I'll probably start again once the 2016 election really gets going.

Yeah, Hyundai has made huge strides in improving their cars, but they're still not as refined as the competition. They tend to be noisier and have cheaper interiors.
The Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 are both among the best cars of their classes.

I don't watch TV news anymore.
Regarding HIPAA, there seems to be some controversy here about whether professors can use pictures of patients in their powerpoints to students. WHich seems a little nutty, and probably a case of nurses taking rule following too far.
Like JAMA, they want patient consent on any identifying-features pictures. In app, if you take a picture there is a way to get patients to give consent by signing.
Also, I like my Hyundai. It drives fine at over 80 mph (I know, I know) but it's also stick. And it's significantly less expensive than Mazdas or Toyotas or Hondas.
Is anyone here on the TSA Precheck program? How hard is it to get accepted, and do they take all your fingerprints?
WTF is wrong with white men in their early twenties?
Oh dear, I guess I better go check the news? Sounds like something ugly.
Do you guys read Today In Tabs? It's a lot of media insidery stuff I don't care about, but his opening paragraph today makes it all worth it. [link] Worth it in a "Damn, the world is shitty" way.
