Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I need to figure out how to go to sleep earlier. I'm in bed eyes closed for 8 hours, but it doesn't seem to be enough!

Is there some kind of headhunter rule about not approaching people who've been in their jobs less than a year and a half? I hit 18 months and suddenly they are coming out of the woodwork with hilariously unsuitable jobs.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I usually feel like 8 hours is enough for me, or even 7.5, but maybe because I got less than that for several days I want more right now.

Did you use a headhunter when you got this job, Jesse?

FInally got a chance to dip my spoon from Mr/ Ghost into ice water. Delightful! I think I have a new favorite ice cream spoon. Now I just need some ice cream. Oooh, I'll keep it at work until tomorrow, maybe the "tailgate luncheon" (I just find that term ridiculous) will serve ice cream...

Somewhat relatedly, I have been sized by a desire to start planning for Halloween. Not so much my costume (although I wouldn't mind a good idea) as I really want to get my cubicle decorated early in October and bring in coffin-shaped treats and use my spooky cupcake liners, etc.

I was making breakfast and suddenly couldn't remember what day it was. Normally I can logic my way to figuring it out, but with my usual TV shows on summer break, I don't have my typical week markers. I had to go to my computer and pull up the calendar to figure it out. Praise be, it's Wednesday, not Tuesday, but I hate when my life becomes so undifferentiated that individual days have no identity.

No, but they did approach me, which was very pleasant!

Our temperatures are going to hit 100 in the next week. It seems a bit early in the season for that.

Anyone want to hand me some motivation? I'm not feeling it today.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I could, meara, but it seems like too much work.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sorry, I misplaced mine.
