Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And they're gone already! That was fast. Five-cats guy vacuumed my cat trees with the super-sucker vacuum, so they're cleaner than they've ever been.

The cats seem suspicious of this "clean" nonsense.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I wonder if a good carpet cleaning really would help mine. They're at least 8 years old, this horrendous brown, and heavily matted in places. I'd love to replace with hardwood, but I don't even have the kind of money to replace with carpet for right now.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's a nice change of pace, Zen.

OK, "friendly and efficient" is a nice middle-point for workpeople.

That's how mine are/were, though beige not brown. Stanley Steamer is good and has specials a lot. I'd give it a try, it can't hurt and it isn't very expensive. Mine look much better now.

Everything that had to be done today has been done. I'm taking this headache back to bed.

Mine look much better now.

That was my big question. I just want to be able to see a difference.

I hope your brain stops doing the cha-cha inside your head.

Sleep well, Zen. I am already debating whether my intention to rest today would be better served by going for a leisurely walk (I am sure Walter's choice) or just going to bed as early as I can manage. Can't do either for a few more hours what with being in the office and all.

Hey, we have a "tailgate luncheon" on Thursday. I need to revise my planned menus for the week...

I'm starting to wonder if I'm having side effects to the blood pressure medication I've been taking for years. I'd been attributing some of my symptoms to too much bar food and beer, but now that the playoffs are done I will have to keep an eye on it.

That sounds like a possibility to keep in mind.

I may have run out of brain. I wonder if I can come up with stuff that needs doing that doesn't actually take braining.
