So taking your own hardware and software to interviews isn't weird? How does it normally go down?

Later tonight I have two dates...wish me luck that the timing doesn't go horribly wrong!
All I can picture is some Three's Company-esque scenario where Jack Tripper managed to make dates with 2 different women at the same time and so he had to run back and forth between tables at the Regal Beagle and try to keep them from finding out.
I hope your dates are less sitcom-y.
Skydiving and almost immediately two dates in one night? You are living on the edge, meara! Good luck to your sister.
Mmm, tile.
So taking your own hardware and software to interviews isn't weird?
Seems weird to me, but I don't know that I've had those sorts of interviews, actually. So.
It seems super weird to me.
I hope your dates are less sitcom-y.
I mean, for meara's sake, I hope that... but not for our sake!
I am secretly hoping for an Abed-style meara-meets-a-third-person-who-is-a-better-match situation, frankly.
First attempt at deviled eggs with my new disposable bags and fancy decorating tips a success! Pancetta got stuck in the tip, and I thought I had the largest one, so in the future I will try it with the coupler and no tip. This time, just cutting a slightly bigger hole and using just the bag, no tip, was fine. And I love the clear disposable bags.
So taking your own hardware and software to interviews isn't weird?
That seems REALLY weird to me. Being asked for samples, sure. Bringing your own equipment and creating something for the interviewer? No, I've never run into that.
Timelies all!
Yay, meara!

Seems weird to me.
If I'm going to be asked to create something during the interview though, I'd probably prefer to use my own equipment. The time to learn the quirks of their set up is maybe not in the middle of an interview. Still, apart from basic software testing at agencies, I've also never run into needing to do a demonstration during an interview.
And I love the clear disposable bags.
Yeah, they are great!
