I look more rad than Lutheranism

Trepanning for everyone!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also exhausted and cranky. I had too much fun this weekend! And woke up to a rainy day.

I'm taking Friday off, though, so that's good.

In less-great news, I just offered someone a job after confirming that she's eligible to work in the US...and she's not actually eligible for another few weeks! She's waiting on some paperwork that is definitely coming, but who knows when. Ugh.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ooh, hot tea directly into the skull, that is appealing and I don't even have a headache.

Grandboss is out of the office today so he sent us all an email saying he would miss his usual stroll around the office chatting with all of is in the morning and he wanted to say "good morning" by email at least. He's pretty goofy and sweet sometimes.

I'm the same way for some reason. I just want to lay on my keyboard and take a nap.

I just need to keep it together for the three meetings I have today, and the rest of the time I'm going to read through our internal transfer site because I clearly am clawing at the walls here.

Also, I took tomorrow morning off.

Focusing on entirely the wrong thing - I have always heard "truculent" in my head with a soft c. That's wrong, isn't it?

I always enjoy the hard c of truculent, like I'm attacking people with it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm tired and in a cranky mood today, too. It was set off yesterday by a call from my Mom to remind me what an inconsiderate person I am which I think was about me not calling my Dad on Father's day, even though we never talked about my Dad and they've been divorced for over 25 years.

I woke up with a migraine because the weather is being a jerk. I have all the lights off and the laptop dimmed because I have work to get done.

Oh, hey. That probably has something to do with my attitude problem because pain.

I think we all deserve a pillow fort today.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think we all deserve a pillow fort today.

Yes. And kittens.

hip deep in pie

One of my teeth is being crazy sensitive to cold, and messing with my sinuses. I have a dentist appt. tomorrow at noon. I fear a filling or worse!

ION, the canteloupe in my fruit salad is dry and disappointing.

Monday, could you just stop being Monday for a bit?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Father's Day this year? It's not until next Sunday. Not that that information really helps you, Scola.

Last week, I bumped someone with my car when she started turning and then stopped. Tiny little spots on her bumper where the bolts on my license plate touched her car. Insurance called this morning, and she's claiming she was injured.

I am already home sick, and now I just want to run away from all adult responsibilities.

Yes please. Or a blanket fort, because that would block out more light.
