"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It may be that I'm worn out from a too-long workday, but the titles of the activity cards I'm prepping for the printer seem to be getting more sinister as I go on. For example, "The Hungry Puppet" and "Here Are My Eyes" sound like they should be horror stories.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I'm sorry, Consuela.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I am so sorry, Consuela.

Peace to your household, Consuela.

I'm well-rested and they sound like horror stories.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm so sorry, Consuela

Family drama continues apace. FiL is at the VA and they've looked at everything and changed the dressing and are scheduling an appointment for Monday morning with a hand surgeon. DH is still stressed out and worried but it all seems much more sanguine than it did last night.

My FiL is still stubborn and pigheaded, not unlike his son, so he's making it as hard as possible on everyone trying to help him out, but oh well. That's kind of a good sign in a way.

Franny is still sporting a fever, which has us and the doctors a bit worried at this point. She's on antibiotics now so let's hope they help, but frankly she seems no better than she did this morning.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That's a long time to run a fever. She (and you) must be miserable. I hope the antibiotics kick in soon.

I'm sorry Consuela.

Sanguine is kind of a funny word choice in context, Burrell. Glad FiL is well enough to be diffiult. I hope Franny gets better, that seems like a long time to have a fever.

It's hot. Not as hot as whatever day that was earlier in the week that was so hot, but still too hot to cook or move around much. Sitting on my ass in front of the fan and watching TV is seeming like the practical choice.
