Oh, yeah. I got less than 5 hours of sleep last night, for absolutely no reason. I'm blaming it on Fury Road.

I did some shoulder stretches yesterday and pulled muscles in my neck. Which, yay for showing me which muscles are used in those stretches, but damn, you don't realize all the ways you shift your neck through the day.
ION, I need a new washing machine. I don't want to buy a washing machine, I have enough clothes that I'm doing laundry maybe once a week. There's a Laundromat two blocks away from my house, I'm good with this. The problem with the washing machine is that it won't stay level anymore, and slams into things during the spin cycle, and I object to machines slamming around in a house I'm responsible for. Housemate cannot hear a washing machine slamming into a wall in the next room--and no, he didn't have headphones, he was just looking at something on the computer and didn't realize I was standing in his doorway yelling at him over the noise of the washing machine, "Do you hear what it's doing!"
He knows how to fix the legs on the thing, and he should notice the fact that one of said balancing legs has apparently fallen out, considering the angle the machine is currently on. Whether this will translate into him put the leg back in or acceding to Laundromat runs on his own is a separate question.
In-home laundry is not a requirement for a home, so landlord is not involved in this. I bought a new fridge six months ago, I don't want to buy a washer.
At this point I am just trying to keep myself from being overtly hostile to the poor people who come into my orbit.
I am irritable and hating everyone today and I don't know why. Note - I do not hate y'all, nor the coworker who brought me pound cake, but pretty much everyone else.
Sorry about the disruption and the idiocy, Ginger.
Drew~ma!
I called in sick for a mental health day. Based on other people's Monday's, I think I made the right choice.
Health~ma and pain~ma for Drew!
Or should it be anti-pain~ma?
I am going to go out on a limb here, and say kidney stones are not good. But better than pancreas things.
I work at a school of nursing, and all morning I have been dealing with nurses who cannot follow directions. Most of the time, it is because the things that make you a good nurse do not necessarily make you a good student. I think. Or maybe they just can't use computers. Or think globally. Or read a welcome message that tells them where to park.
Good luck, Drew!
tommyrot, your post makes me think of the clinic near my office whose door says they are "First in eating disorders." First in treating them, surely??
Yeah, good call, tommyrot.
Went for a walk, which did help, but it was very hot out there already. So I guess it's a good thing I didn't stay home where there is no air conditioning. Dang, I don't think I turned on the second fan in the living room, I hope the critters can all cool off okay with what's going.
