Ants have sent a reconnaissance mission into the house. I found one crawling on my monitor, got him on my hand and returned him to the wilds of the front porch, where his fellows are busy cleaning up the remains of a spilled Mountain Dew. Then I found a couple more ants inside, and now my goodwill towards them is gone. I don't see a line of them coming in though, I think a few just came in on my shoes or something. But now I feel ants crawling all over me.
My sympathies, Karl. It's always hard.
West coast coworkers need to STOP SENDING ME SHIT and PINGING ME. Do they not understand TIME ZONES.
OK, okay, I'll stop!
t /not actually a coworker of shrift's, but on the West Coast and done working for the day (finally)
That was a long day, so I decided I would swing by the Suisun Valley Wine Cooperative (in part because I love a Cooperative venture) and find some white wines to drink this summer since I am out. Bought 7 bottles, including an aperitif that is all herby and interesting, so that should hold me for a while. And I think the wine I drank while tasting (although I poured a fair amount into the slop bucket, whites are tricky for my taste buds) is probably enough wine for today.
And now, In-n-out and Wolf Hall.
That's a damn shame, Connie. If I can't enjoy my beloved potatoes anymore, everyone else ought to!
Yup.
Dang. That's a whole lot of story.
You know what else? Numerous people at work mentioned that it was National Doughnut Day but NO ONE brought in doughnuts.
OK, okay, I'll stop!
It's okay if you're only working in your time zone and not a whole bunch of people sending me a flurry of requests at 5:45pm my time on a Friday.
So this shit is crazy, right?
Whaaaaaat.
Not to be ageist, but I do basically feel like most people shouldn't make big life decisions before 25.
