KNEES!
I bought a pair of Crocs sandals online, these, in fact, in platinum. [link]
Holy mother, are these things comfortable. I don't know how durable they are or how they'll hold up to a day's walking, but if they do well, I may have found my perfect shoe.
I've found crocs in the wedge slipons to wear really well. I have a couple pairs of these. The oldest is house shoe only because they do ultimately stretch out after 8 years of intensive wear.. [link] I have a third pair just with different strap configs.
Since all rubber, you will have sweaty feet slippery issues, but also easy to hose all off and dry.
I look forward to wearing them in the rain.
Yeah, I had sweaty feet issues with crocs but they are easy to wear.

I cannot abide shoes that make my feet sweat.
If I don't get news about whether someone wants to hire me in the next week or two, I have to book a work trip to Orlando.
On one hand, I've actually never been to Florida. On the other hand, Florida in August.
I have the ones sarameg does. Very comfy and no sweaty feet issues. But hella slippery in the rain, for sure.
Orlando can be navigated entirely within convention centers and hotels, I have heard, so as not to risk losing the air conditioning.
I want to go see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Have a butter beer for me.
