That's what I'm doing this weekend! Next week I will be taste testing cold brewed TJ's decaf against freshly ground Stumptown decaf made in a French press to evaluate whether I should change my daily coffee making system. My job really should harness more of my potential for this sort of thing.

I'm feeling petulant and my desire to do any work approximately is negative eleventy billion.

Me too! For no particular reason, though. Unless my knee being sore and everything being hard count as reasons.

Monday was a holiday, but I've spent three of the four working days this week in SOFTWARE PRESENTATIONS. They are FINALLY done ... about 2:00 today I reached the "kill me now" point, but now I'm done, I'm going home at my official quitting time, meeting a friend for coffee, going home to an air conditioned apartment, and getting my hair done tomorrow morning. yay!

I am applying coffee and music to try and lift my bad mood. I officially have too much work to avoid it, which I guess is a good thing?

I am getting shit done! Sadly, my Sunday deadline will actually be met on Sunday, but I think with just an hour of work at home. (I need feedback from someone who is busy...)

But jesus, am I cranky! Not enough sleep, and trying to train a new person is killing me.

The work I have to do is either waiting for feedback to decide how to proceed or just too big for me to get my head around right now. Or that damn presentation that is kind of both those things. But I may have found something I can do?

Once of the big library database companies also is in the sport-fishing industry. Companies are weird.

ahahaha, was it EBSCO? They also owned a pecan processing plant and about a zillion other weird industries.

Also, I've had this stack of Beer Advocate magazines I've been trying to get around to reading. I pulled out the next one up and who's picture should I see in the contributors page? Our very own Nora!

Yay! I should have something coming out in the June issue as well about NOLA Brewing. Also I'm on the beer tasting panel in this month's All About Beer and have a feature in either the August or September issue of AAB as well.

This weekend is the Washington Folk Festival. Weather forecast is typical for the festival- hot and humid, with a possibility of showers Sunday afternoon.

Also, we are going to the Rush concert tomorrow night. Music weekend!

Things I can not say. You want ANOTHER copy of the Child Support order and parenting plan? What happened to the original or the copy I scanned for you a while back or contacting the courts to get your own "official" copy. I know you don't like what is in there. You want to be done at graduation, but you have until he is 19 (just a couple of more months, but deal). Plus you are still obligated to pay your portion of his medical and dental bills that you have ignored for months/years. I've let that slide but you aren't off the hook. An no, it is not only if each individual expense is more than $150. It is only if annual medical/dental is over $250 - which, yep, they are. Significantly. Orthodontia, yo. Which you know. I've given you a head's up of each an every expense as soon as I knew about it - planned and unplanned. Just...arrrrggggggg. Nevermind you told our other child you would support her for a year and then kicked her out to my doorstep. I'm not complaining about having her and she has never been disrespectful to me, so I still have no clue what the problem was. But that is on you. All you. There is a darned good reason for the divorce and all this just reminds me over and over again why I made that choice.

I'd say rant over, but I don't think that is going to happen. I'll just try to keep it inside my head as much as possible.
