Teppy, how scary, and I'm sorry you're having to deal with the extra stress of the lock down on top of everything. Don't feel bad about the joke; it just proves you really know Tim well.

Jesse, I had your same spoilery thought.
So in scanning job listings to try and find a job that I don't have a moral objection to, and maybe something with a better commute, I found something promising. I looked up their location, and somewhat hilariously, they're located in the building next to the one I currently work in.

Ha. Well, it'll be fairly easy to sneak out and go to an interview!
How scary, Tep! I'm glad Tim is being looked after, and don't beat yourself up over gallows humor. It just shows how well you know his habits.
Teppy, if you guys need anything, let me know - mr. flea is across the street. (We have a small side-line in bringing food to hospitalized people.)
Oh, Tep, how awful! I'm sorry you had to go through that.
shrift tis totally right about the bubonic plague joke, too.
Do your job, lung of Tim!
Good luck, Dana, and that is funny.
I think I might remember actually having to come in after we were supposed to be done as a senior in high school to take AP exams? Not after graduation between when seniors stopped having classes and when the rest of the school did. That was a long time ago, though.
It's not all white clothes, surely -- just white pants or shoes.
White shoes and pants are what I am wearing, and what I was talking about. Specifically shoes, really, which seems like the more important part to me. As I discussed with my next-cubicle-neighbor on the other side when I was leaving to get my hair cut - her comment was "You and my mom. Wear white whenever you want!"
Dang Teppy - I hope you get back to Tim soon. Lots of ~ma.
In laptop update news, I have a work loaner which is bumping along. The data on my hard drive is recoverable but Dell won't cover the replacement of my motherboard. Luckily *I* don't get charged for that, but my group's overhead number gets hit. Not sure when I'll get a working computer with MY data back.
Also, I wonder if this is what locked down the ER: [link] Maybe a failed hit, and they were worried about follow-up? Yikes.
Yikes! I did hear ER staff saying "multiple GSW," etc, so that was probably it.
I just got to go back and see him, but they were about to jab the tube in, and wouldn't let me watch even though I asked. Boo. He'll probably be here 2 days, because they need to make sure the lung stays inflated. I'll go home and pack him a bag once I know he's be-tubed and stable.

I agree! But only white leather shoes -- obviously white sneakers are fine year-round. I guess what I actually have is a set of "summer things" that only belong when it's hot out, i.e., in the summer. But honestly, I keep wearing linen (for example) when it's still hot in September!
